@comcast.net | turn down money???
There's always Verizon Voicewing..... Verizon's not going to turn down any money... It's just a matter of time before Quest or Sprint jump on the VOIP game. |

No pricing yet but it will probably kill their Voicewing product pretty quickly or make it only available to those who don't have fios. |

Qwest was one of the first Bells to offer VoIP service.. »www.qwest.com/residential/products/voip/ (VoIP service is also smack-dab on their home page)
I'm not sure why Sprint would jump into it because they're a cell phone provider. However, even with that said, they still are offering it based on their fem-2-cell service about to launch. |

| reply to fiberguy Wasn't Sprint a primary partner for TWC's Digital Phone at one time?
I knew they had an agreement in certain areas but not sure how that worked out for them. in NW Ohio they used to use Sprint for numbers and access to the actual PSTN. And MCI/VZB as LD. That was according to TWC's Tier 3 Department. |

| TWC would tell you where they would actually get the numbers from the would say Sprint before the merger the number would be: 419-559 Sprint PCS or after the merger: 419-552 - Nextel.
Now since after the 419 area code is almost gone TWC (like ATT) are issuing the area code of 567. Which TWC issues 567-201 which shows Level3 owns that block. |
