| Newbie.....how long does it take to receive user/pass
Hi, i just ordered the high speed internet last night on-line and i received an emailing stating invoice today .What exactly does that mean and since i received that email, does it mean i got approved for the service. If so how long do i have to wait for user/pass since i own a modem already.
Thanks |

| Your login in most cases (I am taking a wild guess here based on my login) will be something like your first name plus the first initial of your last name. It will be your email address for TSI. However you don't have to use that email if you don't want to.
I have never used it and have my account setup so it goes to another email address.
It will be like if your name was Peter Smith:

For your password I think you input that on the order form? I know I was to fast and ordered and forgot what password I had put in then had to call them up to find out what it was
For how long till you get an email I can't really say as I joined out west during the beta stage and got a call back to confirm my order.
I would guess 24-48 hours. That was the time frame for the email confirmation when I went from a wet line to a dry loop.
Hope that helps. |

| reply to AK After you order DSL service TSI needs to get Bell to put your home phone line on a DSL card. That does not normally happen over the weekend. So expect up to 5 days to get the DSL activated.
If you already have a modem just hook it up to the phone line and watch the DSL light. If it becomes active it means you have a DSL sync so the line is active. Then you just need your UID/Pwd to enter into your modem or router and you are golden. You can call TSI to get that info. |
