unlocked speeds for the past couple of weeks? now Gone... =(

Wondering if anyone else with Zeta was experiencing the unthrottled speeds of the past week or so. We at our home were getting a whopping 10Mbps according to speedtest.net.
IT was like having real high-speed cable or DSL. Now I gotta wonder why Zeta doesn't offer anything faster now. The capability is OBVIOUSLY there.
While our upload speed didn't really go up, honestly I couldn't really care. 1Mbps Upload is all anyone really, honestly needs. With the really fast download though we were living in multimedia heaven. Everything from iTunes to Hulu.com to just basic downloads worked like a DREAM.

I honestly wish Zeta would offer some faster options. The capability is OBVIOUSLY there. So why not?

I contacted Zeta regarding getting faster connection speeds and this was there response.

"You make an excellent point regarding the recent change in definitions for the term broadband by the FCC. With the change in definitions last March, our 512 kbps offering is technically no longer "broadband". We will take this under advisement and look into possible changes to our packages.
For now, however, 1.5 mbps is the fastest that we are offering at this time.

Thank you,

A VERY Lame response to be sure. No reason given at all as to why they can't offer better connection speeds.
