There is a 30ms delay in handoff from sprintlink to att.net, and then a lot of ICMP timeouts at those routers. Is your ventrilo server on a different server? Does it take the same route? In-game latency accounts for server processing time, whereas ICMP/Ping would only account for the network latency.
