Phishing attacks rely mostly on e-mail. You receive a message purportedly from a bank or a store. A problem with your account requires immediate attention.

| Yes, phone scams have been around for some time. The newer twist is that the original email is a phish with the attendant faked company or government logos and home page. instead of(or in addition to) providing a fake link, they provide a phone number or a fake customer service line.
