This problem is NOT exclusive to the iPhone

I have the same problem with my smartphone drifting between the 3G and EDGE networks, and I don't own an iPhone.

I own a Motorola Global Q9h, and if you go to any Motorola forum, you'll find the same complaints from Q users.
