 | reply to mark5019 It's up but barely able to load. Takes anywhere from 10-20 minutes wait.
It's kind of in "limbo" since the owner is now working for microsoft and nobody has taken over. |

2 edits | When you open MW Pro and that popup screen comes up, look at the left bottom of the page for a checkbox. You need to uncheck the box.
To run minimized go to Settings > General > Check the boxes you want.
It took me a couple of times to figure that out. -- TH ~ NE ~ EPN ~ NC ~ TD |

Maybe someone else who uses MW Pro has some other ideas. |

1 edit | In the MW Pro 6.0 general setting screen I checked "Minimize Mailwasher on Startup", closed the program, reopened it and it was minimized. I don't have any other idea for you besides making a change, clicking "OK", closing the program, then reopening it. -- Female monkeys often utter loud, distinctive calls before, during or after sex.. |

 Mele20Premium join:2001-06-05 Hilo, HI kudos:4 | Thanks! Yes, it is working great now. There is a thread where a moderator states that they were just as much in the dark as the rest of us when it was so extremely slow and much of the time unreachable. The mod says he's sure Paul will explain when he has some time. Later in the thread is a post from someone offering to buy the site.

 | reply to mark5019 Mele, since Laudanski is obliged by Microsoft to sell all Castlecops domains, as I Castlecops member still two questions remain to be answered:
a) news about the new owners, and what they are planning to do with the site;
b) II have donatd for the server upgrades, as others up to say 10,000 US Dollars. Does Laudanski cash in theese donations (or lowwer the selling price accordingly) or what? I did not donate money to fund Laudanski's private pocket and I'm sure none of te donators have done so. Thus, where does these 10,000 US Dollars go to? I asked over at CC - and my post vanished within seconds. Makes one wonder.. |

It is a different matter if one could run as complex site as CC and hold a full time demanding job with MS. As for your other questions about the site future i guess you will just like the others have to wait

 | reply to mark5019 Cudni,
I'd suggest you do read the "Microsoft Corporation Employee Agreement". There is no room whatsoever for Laudanski to hold on to his LCC (that's what Castlecops is in the end from a legal perspective). If not convinced, drop Microsoft a call or ask Laudinski.
So all my former questions remain as they are. And as much as I do like the "soon former" LCC Castlecops, I'm convinced all those who contributed money (problably far more than 10,000 bucks, since the figure has not been updated, contrary to what Laudinski promised ages ago), simply want their money back as soon as ownership has changed.
On a side note: the new owner(s) probably buy the whole bunch, database included. Now, that includes my email address as well as the email addresses from say 180,000 members. I don;t wan't my email address being sold and who knows resold to some spam company. Do you? |

The extremely low dollar value of the database precludes it being sold as a separate item. |
