I know that I'm 1 month behind...that's because I had uninstalled my updated - to the last updated defs - but since the .bin was screwedup (AVG's fault, not mine) when I downloaded the software again, naturally I would only have the defs that came with the software. I will try the fix that is posted further down. -- Lonnie |

| Seems like everyone using AVG is affected. I installed Avast! Antivirus and ran a scan which uncovered a corrupt .dll file. (avgcorex.dll) The path was: "Documents & Settings\all users\application data\avg8\update\backup\avgcorex.dll". Avast listed it as a Trojan! My O/S is Win 2K-Pro.
Let me know if you find the same, and if so please post for others. |
