Not buying a new bag.

Sorry, I'm keeping my laptop backpack. I've seen the "TSA Friendly" designs and they may make putting it through the scanner easier but they're not very ergonomic and they're sure as hell not as versatile or comfortable as a backpack.

I'll just keep taking it out like I always have until they tell us we've got to use the style mandated by der fuhrer.

What the hell is wrong with you people?

"Der Fuhrer"?

Do the Sonderkommando's tail you on your way to work or 7-11?

Really , the nazi references need to go.

Get over it. It's tongue-in-cheek. I'm sure you've never overemphasized anything to make a point.

there's a way to get away from all the faa rules and crap. It's called driving. Everytime I go somewhere I contemplate flying but decide that I'd rather not wait in line, strip naked and still get thrown in a prison cell because i was embarassed in front of thousands of people by a tsa guy so I drive. No TSA in driving!!!

Unfortunately MapQuest has never successfully found a driving route to get me to Europe from the States.

I dunno, maybe if I drove to Alaska and then headed west REALLY fast I could just jump the bering straight but I suspect Russia would have some problems with me entering their country that way.

So did the TSA tattoo some #'s on your forearm?

That's too obvious. TSA tattoos the # on the left ass-cheek. FBI uses the right.

Yeah, me neither. It only takes 2 seconds for me to take my laptop out and throw it in a tray. Taking off and putting on my shoes is way more of an inconvenience, mostly just because I'm so focused on NOT getting separated from my boarding pass and photo ID.

What I hate about taking off my shoes is that (I wear size 13 shoes) the TSA agents all keep asking me "is it true what they say.....? once they see my shoe size.
Should I be concerned?
