Re: [VoiceStick] Asterisk program- NEW- you asked for it.

In the short term is there at least an exception process to change the outbound CID for using VoiceStick for termination? (submit a ticket, perhaps?)

The DID is more of a novelty than a necessity for my use of this account -- I was thinking about using it to setup an IVR for some construction work I have going on at my house so contractors can get my cell phone if it's critical or just leave a voicemail for status updates.

For outbound calls the service would be significantly more useful if the reported source number was my main DID.

On the current switch we have no way to spoof the CID

Foo!

Hopefully you get upgraded to strength+5 +bow +chainmail to deal with those dragons.

With outbound pricing at 1.1c I'd love to add VS into my outbound dialplan, but right now it's worth it to me to give my fractional penny per min to another provider so that people see the call coming from a number they recognize.

For now I've found a use for the DID, and VS will remain a backup trunk for outbound 911 and outbound standard dial.

Looking forward to seeing what the new switch will be able to offer.
