| reply to FHHQ Use Windows Explorer and click on the FOLDER button. Highlight Desktop and you should see all of the files/folders in the right pane that are on your desktop.
File --> New --> Folder then it will have you name the folder.
In this case folder = directory. -- Brian

When you go to make a new one, it doesn't say new "directory", says new "folder". Don't most people use a windows operating system? |

  CylonRed Premium,MVM join:2000-07-06 Bloom County | Directories were used for many, many years before MS came along with Win95 or 98 and MS decided to call them folders. I went to college in '93 and in the basic computing classes they were still called directories. |
