Re: Avg says .bin missing when updating Folder is the MS way of saying directory. I would rather say directory as calling it a folder confuses most people it seems to me. |

| Really? Well, I'm not a geek, but I've never heard them called directories before; well I've heard of directories but didn't think they were one and the same with folders. When you go to make a new one, it doesn't say new "directory", says new "folder". Don't most people use a windows operating system? |

Bloom County | Directories were used for many, many years before MS came along with Win95 or 98 and MS decided to call them folders. I went to college in '93 and in the basic computing classes they were still called directories. |
