To news.giganews.net, which I used to constantly pull 960kB/sec down, I now pull around 600-700. I always get good speeds in speed tests (974.0 kB/s down, 62.5 kB/s up) and have no complaints about browsing or speeds from other sources of downloaded files.

Has something changed? I'm connecting with no login/password to news.suddenlink.net.

Maybe a SuddenLink Tech can supply an answer.
