dandelion : I had something similar but the cable company says the ping from them to the modem good, I was having to reboot frequently to get online. Downloaded a noncritical modem Agere software update from the microsoft site and so far so good but still sometimes slow to connect (this is a replacement modem just got two weeks ago though the same brand as previous Motorola SB5120) . Wouldn't the cable company have updated drivers for their modem?
--
Spare computer cycles can help find answers
Find A Cure!
