I like T-Mobile

I get service in more places around my area with T-Mobile than everyone I know on the other providers.

i have better service with TM than anyone else.

Maybe in californialand. Out here in the real world they have to lease from ATT, same with virgin, boost, and most other smaller operations. Verizon, att, and sprint are the 3 major players here. Sprint is a joke as far as cell phone service goes, but if you're into "looking professional" with your cheesy PTT moto then sprint is a good place to be for you. If you like sketchy billing, texts that cost you, no roll-over etc etc go with verizon. If you want a phone company that works, and not just to screw you over, hop on board the ATT train. I'll be sitting in the middle car saving you a seat.

That being said, even my worst ATT nightmare was resolved with 2 phone calls. They even gave me back roll-over minutes that i lost when i renewed my contract so i could buy a new phone when my old one had too much wear (for that first month you technically have only the base minutes you choose to start with). They really have met me in the middle more than once and have been very flexible and seem to work hard to try and meet my needs. We had verizon before i had a cell, and they kept triple billing us, even months after service ended we were still seeing bills as if we had never canceled. Sprint never works aside from PTT in most of the east coast because of foliage and their focus on data vs voice. PTT is data, not voice, if no one knew that.

Re: I like T-Mobile

This is a silly argument- all cellular service is different depending on where you are, and what spectrum they have... Sprint and T-Mobile are mostly on the PCS band, while VZW and at&t make heavy use of the cellular band where signals propagate better. (However, the PCS band is seen as better for data services because it requires more towers, so it's harder to have network congestion.)

Sketchy billing is really more Verizon Telecom than Verizon Wireless- never had problems with my cell-phone bill. (FiOS billing is another story...) The thing with VZW is that most people I call use it as well, while if I was on another carrier that would dig into my minutes- it all depends on your situation.

·AT&T DSL Service

I'm in Orange county California. You would think AT&T's coverage would be good in a county with 3 million people, but you'd be wrong. Everywhere I'd want service AT&T doesn't cover: my house, my office by interstate 5, and the areas I like to hike. I've had service with T-Mobile for over 5 years and I've never had to call CS once cause I've never had any problems.
I do use my cell mostly for work to call me, at that's not all the much.

TM doesnt "lease" from anyone. they own their own network. and they only have roaming in certain areas with ATT. And its not very many. Virgin is actually Sprint-Nextel the same as Boost. VZ and Sprint have roaming agreements as well.

ATT maybe a great carrier for you but chances are someone in your city would not agree with you.

Re: I like T-Mobile

TM bought the tower a block from my house from Cingular/AT&T, Cingular build it a year before they bought out AT&T's wireless and TM bought the tower just before AT&T acquired Cingular.
