| [Mobile] T-mobile edge/blackberry curve 1mbps??
Hello everybody. I just got a blackberry curve and had the data plan added on. Being that I'm on t-mobile service I was expecting to be disappointed by the speed of the data network. It took me a few days to do a test due to my first phone rebooting when it felt like it. Now I got the replacement and the speeds look too good to be true. With wifi off(double and tripple checked) using he opera mini browser (4.1) and being in the 92145 area code with full reception (san diego), speed tests are showing more than 1 mbps all rthe way up to 3 mbps. I used dslreports, speakeasy and a couple others.

I'm still having trouble believing the speed. Isn't it well above even the possible throughput of the EDGE network? Anybody have any ideas?
