2.0 is a speed option or something?
It's not really an 'option'. The 2.0 slot has more bandwidth than x16 and provides more power.

The bandwidth, at least at the moment, isn't that big of a deal. The best thing for 2.0 is the power. In your case it would not make a difference. 2.0 uses the 8-pin 150W power connector, x16 uses 6-pin 75W.

You won't notice a difference between 2.0 and x16, at least not at the moment, with really anything. Until x16 is maxed out the extra bandwidth for 2.0 doesn't really matter, since the cards aren't utilizing it anyways.
