anon : I have called the CBC a bunch of times -- they tell me it's not a server stream availability issue. I can connect through my corporate VPN (can't watch for too long though, because IT gets antsy about the bandwidth use) -- just not through Bell at home.

Chatted with Bell's tech people online -- singularly unhelpful, the thrust of his "support" was that I wasn't understanding the problem, but whatever the problem was, it was nothing to do with my Bell connection.

anon : Hello all.

So on Saturday, the CBC olympic live streams stopped working from my Sympatico highspeed account. I can click on the stream, the ad plays, and then -- nothing. I am wondering if my connection is being routed outside Canada, thus falling afoul of the CBC's obligation to stream only to Canadian connections. Anyone else have the same problem?

More to the point, does anyone know a good proxy server that will keep my connection canadian so I can see the streams?
