| Acrobat reader and acrobat crash in firefox
recently, i started to notice that firefox crashes whenever i try to search for a word when a pdf document is open in my browser (firefox 3). i'm referring to the function that lets you find a word in a document. as soon as i type the first letter, firefox just crashes altogether. this happens with both adobe reader (latest version) and adobe acrobat 9.0. does anybody know what's going on? it certainly seems to be the work of a virus. i thought the pdf documents i was opening might be infected at first but then i tried other pdfs known to be clean and they all crash, so what could be causing this? could it be something else on my system? i'm using windows xp with sp3. |
