Re: Maybe one day soon? Do you know of any visits to where your telephone service terminal is, i.e., a pedestal for buried cable, or an aerial terminal if you have cable on a pole? Normally, the technicians will test from your terminal back to the cross connect box to determine if your cable pair will support the service. If there are problems, such as bridged tap or very light trouble that you wouldn't necessarily notice, it will be repaired prior to providing U-Verse. You are usually looking at at least a month after AT&T starts testing before service will be offered. |
