This announcement about Portland is rather interesting in light of the fact that a wifi system just shut down in Portland (Oregon) a month or so ago. -- My perception is REALITY
WiFi and WiMax have nothing in common except they both start with "Wi" WiFi requires hundreds or thousands of access points while WiMax needs a handfull for the same coverage. -- John M - Cranky network guy
