Your correct about DirecTV not having it full time. I have DirecTV in Vermont and there is no programming on it at this time. But my son who has Cox in Warwick has it 24/7 with the same programming as on the SD channel.

As we have seen from VHO to VHO, what you see isn't necessarily what you get. What you get isn't necessarily what you keep.

Without the sports pack and movie packs, you will not get the new sports HD's, like the Outdoor Channel and Versus. Also, there were a large number of additional HD's linked to the Movie packages like Starz Edge.

You should get the new HD's like Sci-Fi, History etc. Just click through and you will see them. Are you confusing the Verizon HD DVR with Tivo, 2 different things with IMO Tivo being way better.
The way you state it looks as if you are getting a Tivo from Verizon. To my Knowledge Verizon and Tivo do not have a deal, i think that would be big news and if so i want to be the first on the block to have one! :)

I'm assuming the total # of channels being rolled out in each area is dependant on how much work was done at the VHO / VSO's.

I got mine in the mail, not long after the message in the IMG appeared.

Yes, and I didn't notice them right away. But if you go to one of the channels that is moving (and not all of them are) in the guide, you will see the indication that it is moving. The channels have not been moved yet! The stated date for MA is tomorrow, August 20. I don't one should expect the moved to messages to show up until the channels have been moved. People should not panic until they get to the date for their location. I got the message through the IMG 2 weeks ago. The phone call from Verizon last week. Actually my wife took the call and not knowing I had been eagerly awaiting it she promptly hung up on it before i could listen to it.
What I have not yet seen is the new channel guide in the mail nor have i seen any of the "moving to" messages in the IMG that we had on the last realignment.
