pbxes.com » *73 Call Forwarding Deactivation is malfunction

Can people confirm that *73 Call Forwarding Deactivation is malfunction at pbxes.com while *72(destination) Call Forwarding Activation works just fine?

I can use *72(destination) to make call forwarding activation from one telephone number to another telephone number without problem. Yet, there is no way to deactivate call forwarding since pbxes.com system just keep forwarding even with voice confirmation stated “call forward cancel”.

To get such voice confirmation from pbxes.com system, I pressed *73(destination)# then I will get (destination) “call forward cancel” voice confirmation. On the other hand, I pressed *73#, I will get a dial tone without voice confirmation. Without pressing #, I just have to wait a bit longer to get a response. In all cases, call forwarding cannot be deactivated.

Any help to deactivate call forwarding is greatly appreciated.

Work around: Delete the extension then create a different extension. Of course, you will need to update ring groups and inbound routing with newly created extension number.
