Will they provide power sockets too under the seat?
Don't know about American, but I was on a transpacific Northwest flight last weekend and the first 30 rows or so had 110 V AC outlets under every seat, but they didn't work, and NW stated clearly that they were not guaranteed to work. It worked for me before on a previous trip (3 years ago) though.

Re: Power sockets

Alternately, get an extended battery for your laptop...or get a power-efficient model. I have that envelope computer (Macbook Air) and it actually hits 5 hours on a charge in low usage situations, more like 3:30-4:30 when doing heavier lifting.

So is GoGo wireless or Ethernet? If wireless then what about the whole interference thing? Oh, never mind, old wives' tale there anyhow.

Wish Frontier Airlines had something like this. I'd pay $10 per 2-hour flight for it (DEN to SAT usually), no problem. And I promise I won't use BitTorrent and suck up all the b\w
