"What? Problems you say? Thats unpossible! It's Apple. See the little logo of the apple on the box? They don't have problems. Now look at the touchscreen." -- Apple Development Team

This problem is one of many that a friend of mine and his wife had. 3G didnt work, both phones had horrible lag problems when browsing things like contacts, programs would crash, and the phone would just reboot for no reason. They had to trade in their phones at least three times. Last time, with the exact same problems, Apple told them to get lost and wouldn't replace the phones. Refused to honor the warranty even though their Genius Bar confirmed it was all phone problems and nothing they did but still refused to replace the phones. Makes me want to run out and buy one...
So your friend and his wife got 6 bum phones all in a row?

He replaced his 3 times and hers went in twice. He was taking his in for the 4th time when they told him tough crap, our phone doesnt work right but forget the warranty... oh and you dont get your money back either. AT&T gave them Blackberry Pearls and those have worked flawlessly for about 2 weeks now.

All except for the memory leak(s)? I've got the Pearl myself, and find have to pull the battery to reset about once a week, or it'll lose call logs and the SMS Inbox.
