| Apple's "Damage Control"
So Apple has finally admitted to their new phones having "reception issues" and that the update was meant to fix these. I have not read in any forum that their poor working phone was "fixed" by the update, actually the reverse seems to be happening. someone, probably Apple, is putting it out there that the infineon chip is the problem and that it may take 6 months to fix. DO NOT BELIEVE any of it, as a former Apple fan I am outraged that any corporation could be acting so badly. This is simply "damage control" and anyone with a phone is going to pay a price for it should they decide not to return them immediately- even those with perfect phones, while they can. This phone is exactly what could be called "a Lemon" a combination of a rush to market, bad engineering, bad manufacturing and bad quality control is what has happened, probably with the connector between the amplifier and the antenna, which if so creates a real risk to even the working phones down the line. The decisions being made by Apple are worse than poor, they are downright irrational! |
