Don't tend to use much more than 1GB/month even when streaming radio often (radioio). Works very well for a laptop connection anywhere there is a call signal.

I do have a Sprint broadband card on my work laptop too. There isn't too much performance difference.

The price drop is great for more than casual use but not as you primary connection. In fact the 5GB caps don't even really apply to the "under the radar" people either, though when you start being a data hog like that, I wouldn't feel bad if they did catch ya.
