Hummm...well if thats true then I will dropping Comcast really quick:) I did have my FiOS install today and when the tech was checking all the connections video connection was good:) Something must be up, I can't even get my zipcode to come up for a channel lineup:(

If you can post a link to the list - please do! I would love to be able to see what channels are available. I have been watching the technicians dig up the neighborhood and I knew this day would be coming soon!

You can get a listing of the nat'l channels available in zip code 98036 here: »www22.verizon.com/Content/FiOSTV···neup.htm

Enter that zip code and you should be set. You should expect to also get most if not all your locals though it may be a while before the PEGs show up.

Using that zip code only brings up the limited amount of HD's unless they didn't update the web yet

But the OP said 99 HD's, that's why I said limited. I thought he meant WA would get the full blown lineup we got.

Got a call from verizon today. They pushed it back a week. I would scan the channel list, but I gave it to a friend. If you go into the Lynnwood Verizon Wireless store I am sure they can print one out for you.

Will this be the end of Oregon's rein being first with software upgrades and such since WA will be the newest VHO to come online. It's a sad day...plus you'll have double the HD channel lineup like NY. Why don't you take our basketball team too.

The new lineup appears to be online @ verizon.com (lookup by one of the supported zip codes like 98036).

It seems to match the one that the wireless stores were hadning out.

Yeah it rolled out on friday 8/29. Funny thing is some people are getting told that installs are backlogged to as far as november! We had approximatley 11k presales for video so that is ALOT of catching up to do out there.

They actually called me up on Friday and were in the process of scheduling an install date for next week when all of a sudden the rep goes "Uh oh... looks like your area has not been tested yet. I will have to call you back in a week."

Talk about getting your hopes up and then..

On a good note, the current promotion is a HD DVR free for 1 year!

Noticed "Seattle" is now listed on the verizon.com website with an online channel guide.

I noticed a new channel in the Sports section:

America Channel (#86)

I know that this was going to be a new regional sports channel rolling out - and that each region of the country would get a feed. (Comcast was going to carry this as well)

I wonder if the rest of the FIOS footprint will carry the regional version of the station?

Good catch Jeep. They probably will roll it out, I doubt it's only exclusive to Seattle.
