I have yet to receive any kind of notice about the cap in my billing statements. When I check my usage on the site, it still says "XXX MB out of UNLIMITED" on it...

The whole unofficial tethering idea is like playing Russian roulette since they could legally zing you will a large bill.

However, Sprint used to make PDA/Pocket PC owners pay extra for email access, but now is included in their $15/month plan. Also, they have a share plan (2 lines) with unlimited SMS and "unlimited data" + 1500 min. for $130 which isn't a bad deal.
