Good, hopes for success for the EFF

The government has been successful at removing rights, inch-by-inch, without amending the constitution. In this case, in collusion with the telcom industry. While I doubt the EFF will be successful, here's hoping they stifle the government which already had the tools to "fight terrorism", and bungled it. So giving a government more power, eroding away our rights, just isn't a justifiable option for their fuck-ups.

Here's hoping they win! At some point someone needs to stand firm against these abuses of power and tramplings of the constitution.

We're almost as bad as the UK now, where putting your trash out at the wrong time one to many times lands you in jail.

BINGO!!!
Give that man a ceegar!
It started when Reagan took the solar panels off of the White House, and started eroding environmental laws. It followed when he busted the Air Traffic Controllers' union.
IMNSHO, this is when fascism started in the US, and it's waving a flag, holding a bible, while burning the US Constitution.
