 | EFF launches a worthless costly lawsuit .... ... Here's hoping that it helps bankrupt their organization. What we don't need is the courts clogged up with lawsuits going nowhere. The judge should just throw them out of court. |

What about the billions, possibly trillions, of innocent US citizens that the EVIL Bush Regime has deported to Club Gitmo or has otherwise made disappear? Who is going to stand up for them?
What about all of the websites on which people have posted remarks critical of the EVIL Bush Regime, including this one, that have been shut down? Who is going to seek justice for these people?
What about all of the newspapers and other media outlets which been censored by the EVIL Bush Regime? Who is going to see that they once again report the truth?
As other brave patriotic individuals, who have risked death of course, have pointed out, there is no war going on and there is certainly no threat from without with which we need to concern ourselves. The EVIL Bush Regime just wants to wipe our rear ends with shreds of the Constitution so that Halliburton and BIG OIL can make lots of profits.

 | Billions and Trillions of US Citizens....deported to club gitmo or has otherwise made to disappear? Got any links for the billions and trillions of US citizens. I thought that the US population was roughly 301 million, as of June 2007. |

 | reply to meister_sd i've recently started to wonder if the government is serving the people or serving companies and whoever is willing to pay up. |

DogfatherPremium join:2007-12-26 Laguna Hills, CA 1 edit | reply to meister_sd That is nothing new. Special interests whether they're corporations or other lobby groups have run Washington since the beginning. And it doesn't matter which party it is. They're all whores up for sale to the highest bidder.
It's just with new media, we're more aware of the greed and corruption now. |

Those that contribute the most money (i.e. rich or corporate entities) and have powerful lobbiests win.
Basically to answer your question - the government is serving the people or entities that are willing to pay up.
Rule of capitalism 101... follow the money. Unlike many other countries, most people here will find a way to beg/borrow/steal/cheat the system. In many other countries, people will march out on the streets against their government leaders in protest. -- Canada = Hollywood North |

 | reply to pnh102 also how did the 10year old make it on the National Watch List? Also what about the airline pilot, and the Senators?
NSA won't comment on anything. Instead they just keep adding people without a reason! BULL SHIT! NSA needs to be shut down. |

Sarcasm never comes across well on the Internet. Or in real life it seems. We all saw the reaction among Hussein's followers when one of the media outlets that was in the tank for him published an "offensive" cartoon image that was supposed to be sarcastic. I guess that is a foreboding of what is to come under his administration should anyone else publish such things.

The NSA has reason, they just do not tel YOU so you must have a really good reason for having that information, which is....? What business is it of yours? Are you the ten year olds parent? |
