It is to be sure a very, very nice system. As with others here, I've got to say the price is just awfully high for any computer at today's prices.

I will say however, that value to a great degree is in the eyes of the beholder. If spending nearly $5K on a computer doesn't phase you, there is nothing "wrong" with it, and you have a pretty kick-ass system...for about 6 months to a year.

That is my only real issue with it. High-tech stuff continues to move a too fast a pace to put premium bucks into much of anything, IMHO.

For example, look at those who spent $5K for a 46" plasma t.v. just a few years ago...and they did not even have a true HD tuner yet!

That is a great computer, but it will not be even "cutting edge" in as little as one year, and the same components will drop by 1/3 or more in price. Then, you will have a mega-expensive, decent but not state of the art system.
