Re: Frequently changing IP addresses

No servers running here.

Heck,
Noticed just now noticed that I got a different IP address than what I had this morning even. I shut everything down earlier today while a storm was rolling through. Power flashes very frequently here when it gets windy.

None of this has had any effect on my speed or anything, but seems odd when I used to get same IP address for years at a time, or months at a time minimum.

Maybe Charter doesn't like me using Linux mostly and then booting to Windows sometimes.

Or maybe...when Comcast users report short IP address lease times, it is usually related to work Comcast is doing on the plant.
