Prayers answered for sure. My mom was released at 2PM today and is home. She is doing well, and speeding towards recovery. The doctors say the bypass went great, but she still has arythmia which means the freezing of part of her heart didn't work. Oh, well you can't have it all, and the meds help keep the arythmia under control. The arythmia has been going on for years. A nurse will be coming daily to take blood, and check on her so thats good.
Tomorrow a new in home care person will be coming, so my mom will have extra care. She will take care of her bathing, and personal needs so thats something I won't have to do, lol.
Well, looks like all is much better and stress levels have gone down allot.

I remember when my Dad had a series of heart attacks!
Boy was he a shell of himself. A quad bypass was a miracle!
He was back to his old self, always working at something.
Always helping others. what a new lease on life!

Update: I took my mom to her first doctors appointment after the surgery and they found fluid around her left lung. The doctor put my mom back in the hospital over night and they removed one litre of fluid. She still has some fluid left, but the doctors feel that it will go away on it's own. My mom feels allot better now, but is still pretty tired. A nurse should be coming in the next day or so to check up on her.
My mom had an in home care person to help her, but she stopped coming. Today my mom has a new women coming for an interview, and hopefully she will be the right one to help her. I could definitely use some help, lol.
