User Name Changed

When an account hasn't logged in for a long period of time (I believe it's 180 days but may be a year), that account name becomes available for others to choose. When another account chooses that name, the original name is changed to having a number at the end. That's my guess as to what happened, since there's now a steevo2 account here which signed up last month.

My guess would be that account inactivity led to your username being made available to someone else. No activity for a year and usernames are up for grabs. I think the system (or Justin) just appends your old name by some numeric to keep the account for you. No one's account is terminated by inactivity, but usernames do become available for use by someone else after a year.

You're right, I read the date wrong.

the user name was "steevo" . There must be a new one I am trying to find his posts! Searching only finds me, even tho I havent posted in over a year....

I truly hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I believe it's 365 days from the 'last seen' date:

That would make it August 2, 2009.

I'm kind of growing attached to the "8", and I'll miss it when you finally change it.
