Your upstream is too high. If carefully retightning connections and making sure the mode is on the first split doesn't correct it, it's time for a service call

The only thing on the troubleshooting list that I did not mention that applies to my situation is that there are twoe cable company installed splitters where the coax comes in the house. One splits the 1 connection coming in to 2 and the other splits the signal to all the jacks in the house.

Oh, and the signal information:

Downstream Value
Frequency 561000000 Hz
Signal To Noise Ratio 37.1 dB
Power Level -5.4 dBmV

Upstream Value
Channel ID 7
Frequency 23600000 Hz
Power 54.5 dBmV

I have yet to see an explanation though. I have Insight cable (but my email is insight.rr.com?). I have my laptop and my PS3 that uses wireless and a printer that is wired to a Linksys WRT110. That WRT is wired to the cable company's Motorola Surfboard modem.

I am using NAT. The cable modem's IP is the standard 192.168.100.1 but passes through my public IP to my WRT110 and has DHCP enabled (can't turn it off). My WRT uses 192.168.3.1 (255.255.255.240) with a DHCP scope of .3-.8. I left some for static IPs.

What's going on?
