| Whoa nelly ! He is a friend not only to RIAA and MPAA but also to the FBI who he has supported with anti-encryption laws that are in keeping with the FBI’s desire to engage in wiretapping. Wow, the fact that this guy has supported moves to restrict the use of encryption in this country definitely makes me even more leary of the Obama/Biden ticket, more than I was before. The idea of government restrictions on encryption gives the governments of countries like Iran, North Korea and China a major hard on and that definitely is not something this country should want to emulate. It is bad enough that the ITAR regulations exist, but restricting key length or requiring key escrow - hell no.
