Which "online experience" do you think provides the best value?

I still have Verizon with MSN Premium (no longer offered), and while it was great in the past for increasing storage limits on my Hotmail accounts, it is now worse than Microsoft's free Windows Live Hotmail offering. And I can't upgrade my Hotmail account to Windows Live Hotmail because it's tied to Verizon with MSN Premium. So I would have to cancel Verizon with MSN Premium and switch to another "online experience."

If you currently have a free Yahoo e-mail account, can you get it upgraded to the paid version by getting Verizon with Yahoo? (like you could Hotmail accounts with Verizon with MSN Premium) One benefit of the paid/premium versions is that the e-mail accounts don't expire with inactivity like they do with the free versions.
When I switched to DSL this year, I actually opted out of all of them. Maybe I just care more about the basics, maybe I just never took the time to see what they have, but I decided to keep it simple.
I do have a free yahoo email account, though I never use it.
