Don't give up there. They'll wreck your credit

They cannot charge you for services not performed. Well they can try but you can fight it.

If you ignore the bill they'll just send it to collections. If you have no luck in talking to Cox then you need to talk to your local Utility Commission or PUC. Best bet it to try and talk to a Comcast supervisor and focus on the charges they have on your bills for work they never performed.

Thankfully, I didn't have to go that far and was able to get the issue resolved.
