| Really no software needed. If you run Windows just follow How to get songs off of your iPod

1 edit | reply to CipherDias Quote: "First, this particular method works only for Windows iPods or iPods that normally sync with a Windows computer. Second, if you use this to transfer songs purchased from iTunes Music Store, the computer you're copying to will need to have the same account on it in order to play those protected songs."
So if your trying to get songs off an iPod to give to somebody or put on a another computer you may have issue. -- "The American Indians found out what happens when you don't control immigration." |

And if they're songs that you purchased yourself, it's a non-issue (or should be ) |

Since June I think? Which means all those Rhapsody mp3's will work just fine on an iPod
BTW, iTunes has been offering DRM-free tracks for over a year (not to say that all of Apple's offering are DRM-free but then, that's an issue with the record labels not with what Apple would like to be). |
