| reply to dandin1 Hello. I am currently building an IPV6 online scan tool. I am at the early stage but it should be up and running within the next 2 week. Once it is running, i will post the url here. Note: This site will be ipv6 accessible only. No IPV4 support at all. If you want to contact me, please do at: patrick [@]at patrick-isp [dot]. com Regards. Patrick Legault |

| reply to dandin1 Try:
»check.socketsix.com/
I'm not certain what port ranges it tests against, but it works well as a basic firewall check and common well-known ports for IPv6.
I thought about setting up my own IPv6 using nmap-cgi or some others, but have not had the time yet.
Good Luck.

| reply to ajmas I know nmap, at least in debian 4 and ubuntu 8.04 supports ipv6. I've left feedback for shields up to be ipv6 aware. Maybe if more people suggested it. »grc.com/feedback -- Todd »www.vrillusions.com/ |

| reply to dandin1 The exact answer will probably depend on what platform you are using, though I believe nmap ( »nmap.org/ ) supports IPv6, though I have not tested this.
Note that another possibility could be Nessus. At the time of writing there is currently a beta of version 3.2 with added support for IPv6: »blog.tenablesecurity.com/2007/02···ta_.html |

join:2008-05-27 | Does anyone know where I can find an online IPv6 port-scanning tool? I'm trying to test if my firewall is working properly, but I don't have access to another IPv6 host. |
