| RTP300 Linksys Router & Future-9 VOIP
Friends,
I have the RTP300 Linksys Router and was wondering if I am able to use this router with other VOIP like future-9?
Spoke with Vonage tech earlier, he did state that the mac address of the RTP300 is registered with Vonage. Once I cancel the account, the mac address would then be de-activated, hence shouldn't be a problem using with the other voip service.
Anyone run across this scenario?
Please advise,

The RTP300 needs to be unlocked so you can get to the VoIP configuration. Click on the Voice tab, if you get the message "Please contact your service provider ...", then you are locked and there is no way to use it on another provider until you get it unlocked.
I'm not sure if it's possible to unlock a RTP300. Check on the VoIP Tech forum. |
