Extra AP's

how can i add extra AP's i want to disable the one built into my WRT54gs v3

and use 2 other routers as AP's

one for legacy WPA (for game systems) and one for WPA2

this way i can save CPU useage for the WAN

the other router's would be WHR-HP-G54
& WHR-G54S

both loaded with DD-wrt

Re: Extra AP's

Just disable the radio on the Linksys, disable the DHCP server on the Buffalo routers, and connect any of their LAN ports to any of the Linksys' LAN ports.

But what exactly are you trying to accomplish with two APs? If you are thinking 'security', it probably doesn't work the way you think.

Fair enough. But potential interferance between the two APs (not to mention other interference from other sources) could reduce the available bandwidth anyway.
