Any one seeing the speed increases promised by Atlantic Broadband originally due in September? Received mine late last week. Was 3/320.

Download Speed is:: 577 kB/s
Upload Connection is:: 479 Kbps about 0.5 Mbps (tested with 1013 kB)
Upload Speed is:: 58 kB/s

It's a little slower then yesterday but I think it is because they are working on it.

DSLR test.

Your speed is boosted, you should have up to 5Mbps down and 512Kbps up. If you're within 10% of those values, that's normal. If you're going thru a router, there is a performance hit.

Mine's boosted, but goes up and down:

I really wish they would increase the upload speed for the higher tier...

Yes, your home router. I lose @1.5% on my wired connection thru a Linksys router, and way more with wireless. Wireless varies with interference (2.4 ghz cordless phones, leaky microwave ovens, etc), distance, and antenna alignment.

Boosted being the Preferred service went from 3Mbps max to 5Mbps max.
