I don't know if that is still the case now though, as I have not looked in the past few months, so maybe things have changed.  <br><br>Let's go on the assumption that I would still have to purchase the equipment.  Even if I got the one box at a discount I would to purchase at least 2.  That alone would mean a significant outflow of cash out of my pocket.<br><br>On top of that, if I decided I did not like the service, then I would be stuck with a box that would not work with any other provider.<br><small>--<br>"At the moment of conception."</small>]]></description>

I think I speak for most here when I say that paying a high price for something proprietary to a particular entertainment medium.<br><br>While this is not quite related to satellite "broadband" I am glad I rent my cable box.
