According to Wikipedia and most rumblings on the U-verse forums, they are using H.264.

I think they were talking about using VC-1 pre-launch, but seem to have gone with the standard.

I didn't now they switched back from the VC-1 codec. Good find. (Thanks for reminding me of the name of the MS codec too)

IIRC they use VC-1 for VOD. Can't remember where I heard it.
