2701HG-B

Here is what I have:

8 computers(Servers, desktops, and laptops)
Linksys BEFSR41
AT&T 2701HG-B

I just had a AT&T 2701HG-B installed. Now, I only have only 1 computer working directly with the AT&T router. I know there are some rules for having 2 routers. Rule: 2 routers will not work(i guess). My career/job kind of sidetracked me with applications for 2 years and I'm a little out of the loop with Networking. Please help.

What are the steps to make changes to the AT&T router to allow my LinkSys to work?

Will the 2wire still maintain the firewall and other features...etc?

Thanks in advance,
Ty

You can bridge the 2Wirwe and use the Linksys to do the pppoe for you.
If it doesn't help you someone who post here will we able to.

What need is the linksys now? The 2701 is wireless and has 4 ports, what else do you need?

I have some wireless extenders setup within my house:

192.168.1.xx-ip
255.255.255.0-subnet
192.168.1.1-gateway

I also have some Servers with static IP addresses. I didn't want to have to go in and reconfigure my whole network.
