Verizon has plenty of buried FTTH

Verizon has about 2/3rds of their FTTH deployment aerial and 1/3rd of their deployments are buried - a large portion of Tampa FL is all buried. Yes, it is more expensive than aerial, but a lot less expensive than doing nothing and losing all your customers to emerging competition.
