This would be the ip address shown as your internet ip address on the router status page. My setup is a linksys wrt54g router that I have given an internal static ip address to and have forwarded the port 3389 to the static address. And the modem that came with the initial setup from suddenlink. I wish i could give a model number but I just don't see one.

Anyway, within my own network I am able to use remote desktop without any problems at all but when I try to use it outside of the network it won't work. I am extremely frustrated with this and any help would be appreciated.

Is there something specific that suddenlink blocks or does not allow? If so how do I fix it?
