DeathK : Apparently my dad just bought a D90, even though he really doesn't have any lenses to speak of to use with it (he just has an old Nikkor macro lens with auto-nothing). Not to mention he's not really what I would consider an avid photographer, at least not anywhere like he used to be when he was younger. I'm pretty sure he's been in his mid-life crisis for a while now as he's really into Ebay and buying stuff he doesn't need.

Anyway, maybe I'll get to try it out. Who knows, maybe he might let me take it off his hands for a couple hundred and he can have my D80.

While doing my surf photography I have had to carry a p&s to do short video's when the conditions warrant it, so here I am trying to take pictures hand holding a 300 2.8 and do video at the same time with my p&s, it aint pretty thats for sure. If the video is half way decent from the D90 I can't wait to marry it up to the 300 2.8 and get some killer video that wasn't possible before.
--
SurfingOC.com / GsdPhotography.com
